There was a time when I lived the first, now the second is my choice of the only way to really live. Good or bad I search for the positive that lies within. Everything alters in a natural fashion when you simply change your point of view.
Life is not a cake walk, no matter who you are. Sometimes it is brutal in the extreme, finding a centered place to defend from the damage that just comes naturally with time and trouble is vital to a happy life. And you do not have to be one of the lucky ones with a huge bank account to be mostly care free when storms rage all around. All you have to do is believe that if you hold on, sunny days will surely follow.
I have my bad days, hopelessness visits from time to time, but one unflinching look backwards at the way things used to be shows me clearly that miracles do exist. Looking at where you traveled from is a good reminder of why you do not need to return to old patterns of thinking. Every moment holds a promise of such magnitude when you are willing to see the miracles in every second of the time gifted here on earth. One life is all you have, why waste it in a wasteland of your own building when miracles are all around.
