Humans Last Freedom

TODAY'S QUOTE:
"The last of the human freedoms is to choose one's attitudes"
Victor Frankel

Free-will, gives us the option of deciding so much more than we realize, everything in us and around us is colored by the attitude we surround it with. Viewing attitude as a frame of mind, similar to what surrounds a picture, can help in the reasoning process necessary to change your perception of who has the real power, the picture or the frame.
I have seen some beautiful pictures ruined by ugly frames and some ugly pictures enhanced by beautiful ones. But nothing is quite as breathtaking as when they are in perfect synch, yet in an imperfect world that is a rare thing and never an accident. Careful attention shows; a proper frame is sometimes more important than what it holds, in the long run.
The real quality of life, or the lack thereof, comes from the attitude it is framed with. Point of view is not something that should be fallen into. A negative outlook is an ugly frame, it can spoil even the most beautiful picture. Our faces wear our attitudes, enhancing its vision or muting any beauty. Why not frame things with light, instead of shadow?
Negativity ages humans faster than anything external; what destroys inside withers us, like a flower ripped up by the roots then compressed by weight, will retain just a shadow of its former beauty. Positive frames flatter not only what they surround, but also enhance in a deeper way that leaves a lasting impression on those who gaze upon it.
